Accommodation

We are delighted to be hosting our event in collaboration with our hosts at Fforest. In keeping with the spirit of the MovingBeyond event, the accommodations on offer are all impeccably designed with nature in mind, but are a varied mix of size, style and standard. We want to encourage all attendees to explore beyond their comfort zones and embrace the opportunity to be in deep nature and live in close community.

Food will be provided from dinner Monday 10th to Thursday 13th lunch time. In the spirit of sustainability, all food provided will be vegetarian or vegan.

Free Wi-Fi will be available throughout the site however, attendees will be encouraged to limit phone and device to avoid distraction and allow for real connection!

Packing List

Depending on your accommodation type, for most people, bedding, towels, and some toiletries will be provided as part of your stay. If you are in any doubt, please reach out to hello@movingbeyond.co.uk and we’ll do our best to advise further!

In addition to your usual essentials, guests are encouraged to bring:

  • Notebook and pens/pencils, or whatever you prefer to take notes and collect your thoughts.
  • Clothing for all possible weather conditions! We want to be outdoors as much as possible so bring lots of warm layers and comfortable shoes.
  • Sunglasses & suncream (optimistic we know!)
  • Waterproof clothing/shoes, umbrellas, etc.
  • Swimwear/wetsuits for a dip in the river!
  • Hairdryer
  • Water bottle
  • Torch / Head torch
  • Earplugs – to help with a good night’s sleep! You will be on a farm and in close proximity to fellow attendees.
  • Eye masks – some accommodation types have natural lighting as part of the design, if you don’t want an early rise you might want to consider this!
  • Flip flops & Dressing Gowns – For those who are camping and have accommodation with external bathrooms, you maybe want to bring these.

See below for the categories of accommodation on site. Your bed will be consciously chosen for you, but if you have any strict or specific requirements, please ensure the MovingBeyond team is aware of your needs. We will do our best to accommodate requests but we appreciate (and encourage!) your openness and flexibility.
