What's on

Attendees will arrive on Monday 10th Oct with the formal agenda beginning the morning of Tuesday 11th. MovingBeyond 2022 will close after lunch on Thursday 13th October. During the event there will be a balance between core sessions and optional activities in the mornings and evenings to ensure attendees get the chance to connect back to nature and to themselves. There will also be pre-reading and the opportunity to ‘meet’ fellow attendees ahead of the event online.

Key dates

  • Monday 10th October: Arrival day – timing flexible. We will meet in the evening for a group dinner at approximately 6pm. 
  • Tuesday 11th October: Formal agenda begins 
  • Thursday 13th October: Event closes after lunch at approximately 3pm.

Key times

  • Start time: We will start each day at 09.00am. Please arrive at the Giant Hat Tipi a few minutes early to allow for a prompt start.
  • Breaks: We will have 20-minute refreshment breaks mid-morning and mid-afternoon. 
  • Meals: We will have lunch each day at approximately 1pm and dinner at approximately 6pm

Optional activities

In addition to the main agenda which everyone will participate in, we will be offering optional activities* to further open the mind, body and soul every morning and evening. Check in with the team on site to find out where and how to sign up. For example…

Saskia will be offering a morning meditation, movement/ yoga class so if you would like to attend please bring appropriate clothing. The morning will start with time to tune in to self, and nature through a guided moving meditation and vinyasa yoga practice.

XR Catalyser Fire Circle

This is an opportunity to consolidate your MovingBeyond experience and sample an XR Catalyser Fire Circle. XR Catalysers have been bringing the ancient practice of sitting together to share stories, experiences, and views to where it is needed the most; to address the threat of climate and ecological emergency.

Active Hope Intro & Practice

An introduction to the spiral of the Work That Reconnects (WTR), drawing on the book written by Joanna Macy and Chris Johnstone – Active Hope: How to Face the Mess We’re in with Unexpected Resilience and Creative Power, Revised Edition.

Yoga Dancing

20.00 - 21.30

A fun, free-form and inspiring dance session. Moving how we feel, out of our heads and into our bodies, MovingBeyond ideas and into greater presence.

We dance through a wave of uplifting music! Easing into it at the start, building to a peak and gradually winding down to chill at the end and then have a brief check in afterwards.

Wear loose comfortable clothing and maybe bring a bottle of water and / or a pen and paper for any creative insights.
